About This Event
The Compassion Fatigue Retreat is a day-long opportunity to learn how to relax, relate, and release while serving others. All too often, those in the helping profession (ie social workers, advocates, care managers, EMT workers, nurses, counselors, chaplains, etc) lose themselves while helping others live their best life possible. This creates a potential critical situation for both the worker and the community. So, we are preparing attendees to channel their stress in positive ways.
We have a great line up of speakers, to include researchers, social workers, local and national celebrities and a nationally recognized comedian. This is a conference you don't want to miss! 6.0 continuing education hours will be awarded (to include at least 2 social work hrs) at the conclusion of the training. Attendees will leave with certificates in hand.
