Dementia 101 – Live Educational Webinar
Join the Health Committee of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Columbia (SC) Chapter, for an informative and empowering evening focused on understanding dementia and supporting those affected.
This live webinar will feature Tori Anderson, Certified Dementia Practitioner and Dementia Care Specialist Program Manager with the South Carolina Department on Aging. Tori will provide a comprehensive overview of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, including early warning signs, disease progression, communication strategies, caregiving considerations, and valuable resources available throughout South Carolina.
Whether you are a caregiver, healthcare professional, family member, or community advocate, this session is designed to increase awareness, enhance understanding, and equip participants with practical tools to better support individuals living with dementia.
